Felicia´s background is in administration with 21 years experience in various administrative positions. Felicia is the personal assistant to the International Business Development Director and manages the operations of QIAE’s Administration Team.
On a day to day basis Felicia´s role involves enquires, marketing to students, assessing and processing of applications for admission in both the domestic & international markets. This includes liaison with education agents, government & industry. Felicia believes that the experience gained by our students at QIAE will stay with them for the rest of their lives and in this position Felicia is part of that experience. |

Shirley is a fundamental member of our administration team, specialising in the financial activities of the school & company. She is currently studying towards a Bachelor of Accounting and enjoys her position as it is forever changing and developing.

Shirley is a family oriented person with two sons. She enjoys spending her spare time with friends and family and with her beautiful golden retriever, Sarsha. |

Belinda comes to QIAE with over 5 years experience within the education industry that includes medical/health, nursing, administration and management. For the past year Belinda has been working within the QIAE’s administration team, where she is responsible for QIAE’s student management system. This includes all aspects of reporting, student contracts, certification & work placement.

Samantha is an integral part of QIAE’s friendly and professional reception team and is happy to assist all customers with their enquiries. Sam oversees the student management processes and enjoys customer service &meeting people from different walks of life.
Currently completing a Bachelor Degree in Business, with a double major in Marketing & Advertising, Sam is a busy mother of 3 with a passion for life and enthusiasm towards her work and studies. Sam has a wealth of experience in administration, with a friendly and welcoming demeanor. You will find Sam at the front desk with a smile on her face. |

Emily graduated high-school in 2009 and continued her studies with a traineeship in business. During her traineeship, Emily was awarded Acclaim Apprentices and Trainees, “Trainee of the Year” for 2010.
Emily is currently studying a dual degree in Business & Arts and applies this knowledge when working with the teachers in the development of learning materials. Emily enjoys working for QIAE and says that the business has a real family feel. She enjoys the interaction with the people she works with and personally benefits from their experience within the education & training industry. Emily is quoted as saying “I would never have thought of myself working this close to a runway.” |

As QIAE’s Graphic Designer & Technical Illustrator, Ashleigh’s daily role is to create technical drawings & develop online interactive courseware against the Aeroskills Training Package. She has an absolute desire to be involved in art and design & is an accomplished artist, short film-maker and editor.
Ashleigh’s experience comes from a Diploma in Graphic Design majoring in Advertising and Multimedia with several years experience working within the training industry. Ashleigh considers herself a very passionate person and knows this passion will drive her to succeed in life. She is a very active member of the roller derby league & enjoys karate. |

Darryl’s role at QIAE consists of a myriad of disciplines within the day to day operations of the business. His responsibilities include all hangar and workshop maintenance, as well as securing the resources to run an effective hangar precinct.
Darryl has a background of over 20 years in logistics management and warehouse inventory control. He takes personal pride in playing an intricate role in the smooth and effect running of QIAE’s hangar, workshops & buildings. Darryl is quoted as saying –“that it is most important that we ensure a safe work and study environment for all our students particularly in their study & practical activities.” Darryl is a qualified pilot, enjoys fishing and does volunteer work for the local coast guard.

Chris brings 32 years of industry &instructional experience to QIAE. His career started with 24 years in the Royal Australian Navy as an airframe, engine &structures technician specialising in both fixed & rotary wing aircraft.
Chris was awarded the Defence Force Service Medal &Australian Defence medal for his service in the Royal Australian Navy. Chris is passionate about continual improvement. As QIAE’s Training Coordinator, his efforts are focused on improving the lines of communication between the teachers, students, parents, and industry. Chris believes, what sets QIAE apart from all others is our attention to 'customer service', as we continue to support students through their training lifecycle and beyond. Married with 3 adult children and 5 grandchildren, Chris enjoys DIY projects and gardening in his spare time.

Rob brings more than 30 years industry experience to QIAE from his involvement with military aircraft as a Structural Fitter. During this time he has worked on Bell 206, UH-1H, Blackhawk, Chinook, Pilatus Porter, Nomads & F18’s.
Rob was a foreman at the structural fitters shop at Oakey & during this time was responsible for modifications & major structural repairs (sheet metal & composites) for these aircraft. Rob maintains, what sets QIAE apart is that in the classroom, QIAE works to build a student community of collaborative learners that have empathy, respect and a desire to achieve excellence in their chosen field. Having relocated to the Sunshine Coast from Oakey, Rob enjoys time with family, boating & fishing. |

Ken brings with him 32 years of industry & instructional experience. His 15 years in the Australian Army as an Aircraft Engineer, has provided ken with extensive flight line and flight fitter experience on the Pilatus Porter, GAF Nomad, Bell 206, Bell UH-1H & Sikorsky S70 aircraft. Ken maintains that QIAE’s depth of instructional acumen is what sets QIAE apart from all others.
Ken enjoys the diversity of QIAE’s student body & by advocating mutual respect knows that the students will be able to be productive and happy, inside and outside of the classroom. Ken has a passion for cars & takes every opportunity to work on his Ford GT40. |

Geoff has over 31 years experience in the Aviation Industry & was employed by QANTAS Airways Ltd as a certifying Licenced Aircraft Maintenance Engineer (LAME) for over 20 years. His trade qualifications allow him to certify maintenance tasks on Boeing 747-400, 767-200/300 and 747 classic aircraft.
Working at QIAE has allowed Geoff to pass on his Airline Engineering experiences to a younger generation, to which he enjoys. Geoff’s hobbies include restoring & riding old motorcycles along with travelling and fishing. |

With 35 years in the Aviation Industry, Phil has extensive experience from the Royal Air Force, along with his civil Aviation Industry experience. This includes large & small commercial aircraft for Qantas, Malaysia Airlines, Ansett NZ, Air New Zealand & Air Vanuatu.
Phil is a Licensed Aircraft Maintenance Engineer (LAME) in all categories Airframe, Engine, Electrical, Instrument & Radio, on multiple aircraft types that include - 747, 767, 737, BAE 146 &, DH-8. Phil believes in QIAE’s policy of small class sizes & personal attention as a contributing factor to the company’s success. Phil is a qualified Dive Instructor & keen scuba diver. |
